How many treatments does it take for laser hair removal to be effective on my back?

I know it depends on how hairy… can someone whose had laser hair removal on their back tell me the amount of times they had it done and the % reduction in hair? As well as comment on the color change/ if any.

   I haven’t had it on my back but I have on my legs and underarms. It took 6 times and now I just get a little growth. After the 3rd treatment I was able to go hairfree for 2-3 months. When it did grow in it was finer and lighter in color.

   This type treatment works best for lighter complexion with darker hair. The laser is attracted to the dark hair. I have really fair skin and very dark hair so I was a good candidate.

   I say go for it. My sister was plagued with hair on her arms and after I showed her my pits, she was sold. She had battled the low self esteem that comes from people making fun of her. Now she wishes she had done it years before! Good luck to you.
